Thrilled to see financial literacy in action! Last week, Perri Page, our 2024 Bailard summer intern and Columbia Lions guard, teamed up with Alexandra Labagh to lead a financial literacy session for the CU Women’s Basketball team. It’s inspiring to watch our connection with Columbia University continue to grow, as we work together to empower the next generation with the tools they need to succeed on and off the court. Well done, Perri and Alex!

NAREIM is so proud to announce the new class of NAREIM Jeff Barclay Fellows - Eric Rutledge, Matt Ghidotti, Peggy Ghasemlou, Bernadette Mead and Micah Nelson. Eric, Matt, Peggy, Bernadette and Micah will join 90 C-suite members of NAREIM for the annual NAREIM Executive Officer meeting in Fort Worth in October, where we'll be discussing the future of real estate investment management - and how firms are assessing the impact of capital raising, org design and talent strategies on enterprise value. The Fellows is a critical part of the annual EO meeting - bringing together leaders in investment management with emerging new talent entering the business. This year, NAREIM had more than 65 applications from 15 schools. The Fellows is named after the late Jeff Barclay, former NAREIM chairman, managing director and head of acquisitions at Clarion Partners, and head of Goldman Sachs' real estate group, and invites the five Fellows to join not only the NAREIM Executive Officer meeting but also meetings covering asset management; architecture, engineering & development; data & information management; DEI; legal, compliance & risk; portfolio management and sustainability.   Thanks go to the NAREIM Fellows judges for selecting the Class of 2024/25, including Josh Myerberg; James Pinkerton; Beth Zayicek and John C. Orrico. Check out the Fellows on the NAREIM website: https://bit.ly/3t5d4eX Also a big round of applause to last year's NAREIM Fellows for all they've accomplished in the past year and the new roles they've taken.
