#fundraisingschool is out and with that the second run of my favourite BADideas.fund project is over. I've posted plenty about the stellar founders, investors and 💰 numbers, all of which obviously matter, but here's how else I like to measure #success: - A #founder shared that the vibe & culture was so upbeat, our sessions brought him much-needed joy in otherwise cumbersome founder day-to-day ❤️ - I found a true #partner in Laura Zarina who sponsored the project at Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūra - LIAA with *a lot* on her plate and had to put real trust in me and the team that we'll deliver 🙌 - This #team didn't need any convincing to return for the second year and showed up despite work schedules, travels with future in-laws (stressful!) and actual geopolitical tensions - Diana Daiub Diana Lace Davidova Suhas Ghante that's the best feedback I could be asking for. 💃 I'm sure this batch will smash #investment hopes, and I hope we get to bring even more amazing teams to #investors down the line. But in the meantime, I'm grateful for the stuff that really matters. 🎯

Fundraising School is out! 🎤 5 weeks and hundreds of pitches later, last week we wrapped up the second batch of BADideas.fund #fundraisingschool. 80 #startups x 40 #investors = magic ✨ Last year's batch has raised €3.5M #investments and we hope to smash that this year. Considering our NPS is at 89 and 40% startups have been invited for follow-up conversations, let's say we're hopeful. 😏 Thank you, #founders, for prioritizing this above sales calls, product bugs and good ol' firefighting, we're not taking your time for granted. 🚀 Thank you, #investors, for meeting these teams and sharing your feedback, we'll be looking out for those investment announcements. 👀 If only we could tag you all! 🤠 We're thrilled to be able to do this again, so huge shoutout to Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūra - LIAA for making this happen.
