  • Unlocking Mega Project Success Through Strategic Collaboration: The future of business is in collaboration! To reach the highest levels, compete at those levels, and deliver impactful mega projects, companies must collaborate—whether as subcontractors, joint ventures, or even as the prime contractor with large companies as the subs. B360™️ (BizSolutions 360 Inc.) has been at the forefront of building these relationships. I was recently invited to speak and share my experience on a panel at the USAID SB Subcontractor conference, an event attended by both large and small business leaders. USAID's annual budget for 2024 is $32 billion, with a significant portion implemented by large businesses. Here’s how you can be part of it and what I shared: 1. Value-Add: Don’t just go begging to be added to a team. Develop and curate your value-add. Create a capability statement and a company profile. Present it via email, phone calls, and meetings. See an example here, and feel free to use ours as a template: [B360 Capability Statement](https://lnkd.in/erT3Nrew). 2. Be Specific: Research current and upcoming opportunities. Present your company’s value-add on specific projects. Check out [sam.gov](https://www.sam.gov) for upcoming opportunities with USAID, DoD, DoS, etc. Focus on opportunities well in advance; large companies often plan 24 months ahead. 3. Think Big: Understand your value-add and present yourself as a competitive company. Everyone likes winners. Behave like one, and you will get the call. For those starting out in their careers: A. Work for Both Small and Large Businesses: Large businesses give you an understanding of how they work and specific areas of interest. Small businesses provide an overall understanding of business operations. B. Be Persistent: Persistence is key in building relationships and landing contracts. C. Be Passionate: Be passionate about what you do and your goals. Focus on making an impact rather than the money, whether as an employee or an entrepreneur. Looking for a subcontractor or prime? Follow the above steps. Feel free to ask for more info. "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."
