I’m thrilled to share that Gene Eidelman recently had the incredible opportunity to speak at TEDx! This was not just a personal achievement but a significant milestone for Azure Printed Homes as we continue to push the boundaries of innovation in the housing industry. During his talk, Gene reflected on some of his most cherished childhood memories, growing up in a modest apartment in Kiev, Ukraine. These experiences laid the foundation for his vision of creating affordable and sustainable housing solutions. He also shared how his family’s journey as refugees in Los Angeles further fueled his passion for addressing the global housing crisis. They are slow, costly, and environmentally harmful. In his TEDx talk, Gene introduced the concept of using recycled plastics, specifically PETG, in 3D printing to revolutionize home building. This approach is not only faster and more cost-effective but also significantly reduces environmental impact. Imagine a world where homes can be printed in a day, with interior finishes completed in just a few weeks. This is the reality we are creating at Azure Printed Homes. Using PETG combined with fiberglass, we can produce durable, resilient, and aesthetically pleasing structures that meet the needs of modern living. One of the most exciting aspects of 3D printing is its ability to create designs that were previously unimaginable. This technology allows us to build homes that are not only functional but also beautiful and sustainable.
