Converting Waste to Energy through Renewable Natural Gas
About us
Avolta is a renewable energy company focused on originating, developing, owning, and operating renewable natural gas (RNG) projects, referred to as biogas. When left uncollected, biogas is released into the atmosphere, negatively impacting the environment. Avolta’s biogas developments have the ability to collect, condition, and monetize this otherwise environmentally harmful gas, improving our environment, providing returns to investors, and supporting the local economy with additional jobs. We bring a full suite of capabilities including: identifying potential development targets, performing financial and operational due diligence, securing gas rights, obtaining off-take agreements for gas and environmental credits, and project financing. Depending on project biogas gas production volumes, we can install and operate a biogas project with no upfront cost or risk to the gas rights owner, providing attractive royalties on gas sales.

According to the American Farm Bureau Federation ... Farmers are embracing and growing renewable energy more than ever before. "Biofuels are an American-grown energy success story, reducing our country’s emissions and increasing our energy independence. Beyond biofuels, #farms and ranches are embracing a variety of clean energy sources, harnessing natural resources and turning farm waste into fuel. Over the last decade, we have seen a 167% increase in farms and ranches using renewable energy-producing systems." Join us in celebrating #NationalFarmersDay!

In addition to converting #WasteToEnergy, did you know all the other positive benefits of #AnaerobicDigestion?
Anaerobic digestion not only converts organic waste into biogas, it also produces digestate — a nutrient-rich, organic fertilizer that remains after the digestion process is complete. Digestate is used as: 🌽 Natural fertilizer applied to the land and crops 🌱 Soil amendments to improve soil health and plant growth 🐄 Bedding for livestock 🪴To make fiber flowerpots Digestate closes the loop on the circular economy created by biogas systems. It offers a sustainable solution to recycling organic waste and reducing reliance on synthetic fertilizer. #BenefitsofBiogas

With 579 landfill gas (LFG) systems currently in operation across the country—and more going into operation soon—the LFG sector is experiencing strong growth in 2024! 📈 Why? Because key players in the landfill and RNG sectors are pursuing ambitious growth strategies to ensure more landfill biogas is recovered. This largely means developing RNG platforms at existing electricity-producing LFG facilities, or at landfills which previously only flared. The potential for continued growth is impressive. ⚡464 LFG systems are still dedicated to power generation vs. RNG pipeline injection ⛽ 283 of these systems meet the EPA criteria for pipeline injection, 169 would feasibly support a fueling station if the location were suitable #Landfills #WasteManagement #BenefitsOfBiogas #LandfillGas #RNG #Biogas

We designed and built this #RNG facility on Butterfield's #dairy farm and have successfully been producing pipeline quality gas for over a year. Nacelle has been operating and maintaining the Arizona plant with an average uptime of 97.2% in 2024. Choosing Nacelle Solutions as a long-term #partner has proven to be a GREAT choice! #PartnershipsMatter #Operations #CleanEnergy #SustainableAgriculture

Getting incredibly close to commissioning gas at a couple of our #RNG projects in Texas! Once operational, these #dairies will be producing over 250,000 MMBtu of low-Carbon Intensity RNG, which is equivalent to avoiding emissions from over 35 million miles driven by an average gasoline-powered cars. #EmissionsReductionStrategy #NetZeroGoals #SustainableAgriculture
