This past weekend the Houston locations of Averitt Express volunteered at the Abandoned Animal Rescue facility as our #TeamUpChallenge. We delivered pallets full of food donations and cleaning items for the cats and dogs at AAR. In 2 hours, we helped care for animals that have been rescued from all around the Houston metroplex. We washed their water buckets, helped with yard work (post hurricane), cleaned fans, litter boxes and much more! With the amount of help we had as a group, we made a difference. It felt great volunteering for this cause. AAR saves over 500 dog and cat lives each year.
