With a budget of €3.9 million and a duration of 36 months, #AutoMoTIF will develop strategies, business models, and regulatory recommendations to seamlessly integrate and automate multimodal cargo flows and logistics supply chains. During our kickoff meeting, we discussed the project's goals, including addressing regulatory and technological gaps in multimodal transport, and ensuring innovations align with user and community needs. 📣 Meet the Partners: Spotlight on Vicomtech! Vicomtech is a research center located in northern Spain, focused on applying of computer graphics, computer vision and machine learning technologies to real-world problems. In AutoMoTIF project, Vicomtech will lead the use case of Automation of Port Operations at the Port of Bilbao, together with Bilbao PortLab and the company Consignaciones Toro y Betolaza. Specifically, in this project, Vicomtech will implement a Digital Twin that will allow, on the one hand, the creation of a digital replica of current port operations and, on the other hand, the simulation of a future automated scenario. This will make it possible to evaluate the improvements that automation can bring to the maritime-port and logistics services offered by the shipping company. 📣 Meet the Partners: Spotlight on Bilbao PortLab! Bilbao PortLab is the innovation hub of BilbaoPort and in this project will co-define several KPIs with the participation of other partners involved. The values will be calculated actually and then, compared to those simulated.
