  • InfoWorks ICM 2025.2 is here! We’ve rolled out improved SWMM file import diagnostics so you can leverage existing SWMM files inside of InfoWorks ICM more efficiently and with greater clarity. Joining this update is the new ability to convert 2D results to raster and download in the cloud, freeing up your local machine for more pressing tasks. Samer Muhandes and Trevor English explore everything new in the latest release of InfoWorks ICM: https://autode.sk/3ScpYkQ #icm #hydraulicmodeling #waterprofessionals

  • All around us exists an unseen world of labyrinths, sprawling and complex networks carrying vital resources for modern society. For the most part, we don’t even notice it until something goes wrong. Our own Trevor English, who is also the narrator of the two excellent videos in the article, goes deep and traces a drop of water through clean (potable) and dirty (wastewater) systems. https://autode.sk/3TlP5Ta

  • In the latest InfoWater Pro 2025.1, Asset Performance Reporting is now available from the Fire Flow tab inside of the Run Manager. Now, you can view specifically how each asset throughout your network behaves during every possible fire-flow event. This ultimately means more data that’s more easily accessible and understood so you can make better decisions on capacity issues, bottlenecks, or system vulnerabilities. When Asset Performance Reporting is enabled, you can quickly generate result tables to summarize pipes with high velocities and junctions that have low pressure based on the aggregate of all simulated fire flows. Check it out in the video below 👇 and read about it from Trevor English and Nathan Gerdts, PE on the One Water Blog: https://autode.sk/3Scho5C If you’d like to really dig into how InfoWater Pro is leading the industry in fire flow analysis, Technical Marketing Manager Youssef Al Fahham and Nathan Gerdts hosted a now on-demand webinar on the topic: https://autode.sk/4cjG1VO

  • Fifty seven. That’s the number of culverts we just added to InfoDrainage 2025.2 for analysis. This means you can accurately represent the true-to-reality hydraulic behavior of culverts of all various shapes and sizes, fully supporting the Federal Highway Administrations (FHWA) culvert analysis requirements and making utilizing InfoDrainage for US DOT projects easier than ever. But wait... there's more. Read about enhanced flexible reporting capabilities and speed and simulation improvements from Trevor English and Samer Muhandes on the One Water Blog: https://autode.sk/3Y3I9wR Still thirsty for updates? • For 7 years now, Optimatics' customers have been utilizing InfoWorks apps and the Exchange API to connect their hydraulic models to Optimizer software. We expect more and more water professionals to adopt this data-driven hydraulic modeling way of working going forward, which is why we’ve recently strengthened our partnership with SUEZ Optimatics, who offer InfoWorks ICM and InfoWorks WS Pro to their clients. A great example of how our shared customers combine our software is when engineers or consultants want to solve a difficult CSO problem. Each of the many scenarios they create – whether only a handful or a few hundred – has a cost/benefit analysis associated with it evaluated within the analysis. The Optimizer software can significantly reduce the trial-and-error grunt-work and help turn those hundreds of alternative options into tens or hundreds of thousands of specific network configurations and corresponding model simulations, all with the goal of finding the absolute best solution for any particular project by automating the scenario analysis process. This CSO use case is one that we illustrated in a Water Talk, "Expanding the value of your integrated catchment models with Optimizer", which also features Jacobs Program Manager Tom Heinemann walking through the experience of helping the City of Omaha optimize their InfoWorks ICM model. They do an excellent job of explaining how these two pieces of software can inform long-term planning decisions. Read about our expanded partnership on the One Water Blog and watch the webinar video to see how water professionals are using this combination of software: https://autode.sk/4d7KRWg #cso #waterprofessionals #hydraulicmodeling #icm

𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗵 𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝟰𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀! On Friday, we had the privilege of traveling to our head office in Germany to attend Mensch und Maschine Deutschland GmbH’s 40th conference and summer party! With almost half of our 1100 group joining for the event, we had a full day of sessions held by different colleagues from across Europe, senior management team and also a special guest from Amazon. It was also topped off in the evening with the annual summer party for good measure. As we reflect on the past four decades, we are filled with immense pride and gratitude for our journey so far. Here’s to the next 40 years of innovation, growth, and success!
