Join AUCD in Celebrating AAC Awareness Month this October! It is estimated that over 2 million people use Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC). Virtually all AAC users use multiple types of AAC to communicate, to be understood, and to participate in society. The Gatlinburg Conference on Research and Theory in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) is meeting from April 7-10, 2025, in San Diego California. The Gatlinburg Conference is one of the premier global meetings for researchers in the field of IDD, with a focus on early career engagement.
