We wanted to share the exciting news that Pablo Medina has joined Atwater as a Principal in the Investments team. Prior to joining Atwater, Pablo was most recently a founding member of EQT's Growth team, where he helped launch Europe's largest first-time growth fund at €2.4 billion. We’ve known Pablo for ~4 years now, and during this time have been so impressed with his investment acumen, humility, and proactive spirit. Atwater Capital also holds EQT in such high esteem as an institution, where Pablo learned from incredible executives like Victor Englesson and Carlos Santana. It is with great joy that we get to share this announcement with you. Pablo Medina Biography: During his time at EQT, Pablo also established and led the firm's Digital Media and Entertainment sector coverage and was part of EQT's investments in Freepik and Epidemic Sound (both Atwater portfolio companies and where we first met in 2020), as well as Vinted, idealista, GotPhoto, Mambu, Igenomix, and Adamo. Pablo served as Board Observer in 5 of those investments. Prior to EQT, Pablo was an Investment Banking Associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch's TMT groups in London and New York and was involved in landmark transactions such as AT&T's $85 billion acquisition of Time Warner. Pablo attended Saint Francis University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was Captain of their D1 soccer team. Originally from Mexico City, Pablo has lived in 10 different cities across 4 countries.
