About us

Committed to entertaining and uniting the city of Atlanta since 1968, the Atlanta Hawks & State Farm Arena, under the leadership of Principal Owners Tony Ressler and Jami Gertz, continue to build bridges through basketball by following its True to Atlanta mantra. On the court, the Hawks’ exciting young core is led by All-Star point guard Trae Young as the organization received the NBA’s top ranking in overall in-game experience for the last two seasons. Off the court, the Hawks organization focuses on positively impacting the lives of Atlantans through providing access to youth basketball, fighting food insecurity, and the recent transformation of State Farm Arena into Georgia’s largest-ever voting precinct for the 2020 elections. The Hawks family also includes the College Park Skyhawks (NBA G League) and Hawks Talon Gaming Club (NBA 2K League). Atlanta Hawks Membership, which includes your seat for every home game for the 2023-24 regular season, is on sale now at www.hawks.com/membership or by calling 866-715-1500. For more information on the Hawks, log on to www.hawks.com or follow us on social media @ATLHawks.

Our Empower Her ERG hosted a Design & Discussion event that focused on educating female employees about decision-making within our retail team, particularly regarding women's clothing, the team’s storytelling approach, how they incorporate it into our Hawks gear, and more. The event featured a panel of Hawks retail team members, led by our very own Amy Serino, SVP of Brand Merchandising, who addressed these important topics while providing attendees with advice on how to confidently stand in their choices.   In addition to the discussion, ERG members had the opportunity to design their own denim jackets, allowing them to showcase their creativity with one-of-a-kind pieces. Members left feeling more empowered both personally and professionally.   Thank you to everyone for sharing insights into the full lifecycle and total impact of the clothing created by our Hawks Retail team Devan Carter Jr., Scott Dumais, Anthony Richmond, and Amy Serino.

Last week, we hosted the Lady Ballers Summer Hoop Fest 2024 powered by Google Cloud, a camp dedicated exclusively to female basketball players ages 8-14. Throughout the program, participants were taught fundamental basketball skills through group and individual skill instruction, along with five-on-five gameplay. In addition, the girls had the opportunity to participate in fun STEM activities and were each gifted a swag bag, including Hawks and Google branded items, a full adidas uniform, basketball, sling bag and water bottle, along with one ticket to a Hawks game for this upcoming 2024-25 season.   The campers also had the chance to interact with and learn from notable individuals within our organization throughout the week. This included a panel discussion with speakers from Hawks and Google Cloud, who shared their career paths and emphasized the significance of STEM skills across different roles and industries.   Check out this article from Atlanta Daily World here: https://lnkd.in/eV4Vp5zr

Our very own Senior Director of Hawks Basketball Academy, Chris Jacobs, recently had the privilege of speaking and coaching at the Bounce Out the Stigma camp held at West Hall MS. This program is specifically designed for children and young adults facing various challenges such as Autism, ADHD, Epilepsy, Neurological Disorders, Spectrum Diagnosis, and Mental/Emotional Challenges. The primary goal of the camp is to empower participants through the enhancement of motor skills, fostering confidence, engaging in enjoyable challenges, and incorporating positive reinforcement techniques. Additionally, all 30 campers in attendance were generously gifted with a Hawks swag bag, which included a sling bag, jersey, and T-shirt as a token of appreciation and support.
