This morning, the Atlanta Braves Foundation officially began construction on its Habitat for Humanity of NW Metro Atlanta project in Austell, GA with future homeowner Quintasha and community partners. The morning began with a Heavy Hitters performance and remarks from special guests to dedicate the site, followed by the raising of exterior walls! Throughout the nine-week process, Braves front office staff will volunteer to help Quintasha build her dream home.

Though #MentalHealthAwareness Month draws to a close, the Atlanta Braves recognize that it is important to prioritize your mental health every day, and there are resources available to help.

“When you invest in young people, you invest in the future. You invest in the next community leaders. When you do that, you make the world a better place.”   Last week, we traveled to Shirley Winston Park in Columbus to celebrate the ribbon cutting of our fourth Braves Park Project together with Truist! To support the Sally Little League baseball and softball players, we donated new equipment, pitching mounds, hitting nets, and more. Thanks to the help of Truist volunteers, we also painted the concession stand and installed new landscaping as part of our investment in the park and its athletes. The night concluded with a community wiffle ball game and dinner provided by a local food truck!

The 30-minute documentary follows projects such as "Michael Harris II: The Dream and the Journey" and "The Road Back: Ronald Acuña Jr.'s Return" in the Braves' original content arsenal designed to highlight players beyond baseball. The Atlanta Braves Foundation is now accepting registrations for Alabama residents to participate in the state's inaugural Atlanta Braves Foundation license plate program. Pre-register today to order your license plate and cheer on the Braves everywhere you go! Alabama residents can order an Atlanta Braves branded license plate through the Alabama Department of Revenue Motor Vehicle Services website. Each license plate is $50.00 and will be available for pick up at an Alabama Licensing Office in 2025. All registrants will receive an email confirmation when license plates are ready for pickup.   Please note that license plates will not be manufactured until 2025. The Atlanta Braves Foundation will use the net proceeds from this program to benefit communities in need and local nonprofit organizations in Alabama.
