Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities reposted this
Last Friday, I had the opportunity to represent both the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities and the California Association for Institutional Research (CAIR) Board by presenting on #FinancialValueTransparency (FVT) and #GainfulEmployment (GE) at the CAIR Center's event at Pitzer College. It was great to meet and re-connect with institutional research peers from AICCU member institutions and other segments, and to engage in discussions on how institutions are planning for the new reporting. Thank you to Pitzer College for hosting a great event!

Samuel Merritt University offers a Doctor of Nursing practice fellowship through a partnership with Sutter Health aimed at developing future health equity nursing leaders. Irene A. was the first recipient of this fellowship. Her health equity project investigated medication adherence among Latinx patients. Irene said her goal was to shed some light on providing care that's culturally competent and attuned to the Latinx community, and then also provide the resources to the Latinx community to be able to better care for their own health.
