"Train people well enough so they can leave. Treat them well enough so they don't want to." -- Richard Branson Happy National Intern Day! Today we are honored to celebrate past and present AEM interns and recognize their role in helping us build momentum for our members and our industry. We appreciate and applaud all AEM interns who have converted to full-time positions for their commitment, dedication, and hard work. It is truly inspiring to witness their impact on the organization, and we are grateful that they chose AEM to further their careers. 👏 #nationalinternday

We've spent the better part of the last month celebrating, recognizing, and admiring our members and our industry as our AEM Manufacturing Express tour rolls along, and none of it would be possible without the support of our valued sponsors -- Triple Crown Products, Inc., DEUTZ Corporation, DuraMark Technologies, Inc., Two Rivers Marketing, Spindustry, and BAND-IT IDEX. Thank you for all you've done to make AEM's biggest public engagement initiative a reality! #manufacturingexpress

As hard as we work at AEM, sometimes we like to have a little bit of fun, too... 😎 Earlier this month, our own Curt Blades joined a few industry peers for bowling at the White House to celebrate US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)'s Office of Agriculture & Rural Affairs. We look forward to supporting EPA's new office as it works to expand engagement opportunities with agricultural and rural communities. 👍

Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) reposted this
The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) hosted Members of Congress, delegates and the Wisconsin, Iowa and Indiana State Republican Parties at the historic St. James 1868 in downtown Milwaukee during the 2024 Republican National Convention. I want to thank all the AEM staff who volunteered to make the event a success for our industry. In particular, AEM's Advocacy Associate, Cristian Lopez, for doing an exceptional job credentialling, tracking, managing and responding to thousands of invites and requests from government officials and delegates in the weeks and weekends leading up to the event. #rnc #aem

We're so grateful to engage our members in the cities, towns, and tight-knit communities they call home. 🏢 And, as another successful week of the AEM Manufacturing Express comes to a close, we want to thank Custom Products of Litchfield, Inc., Felling Trailers, Inc., Superior Industries Inc, Stepp Manufacturing, and ATS Corporation for helping us showcase the efforts and accomplishments of our industry! #manufacturingexpress

On Monday, we headed to the #HungerTaskForceFarm to clean bok choy! 🥬 A unique source of produce for the surrounding community, the Hunger Task Force Farm has been a staff-favorite volunteer opportunity. It's always great to spend time with one another and work to uplift our community!

One of the coolest things about the AEM Manufacturing Express tour is it has pulled together employees with unique skillsets, possessing varying levels of experience, and from different departments -- all willing to do their part to help us and our members tell the story of the people, organizations, and programs driving equipment manufacturing forward. Keep up the great work, team! We appreciate all you do. 👏 #manufacturingexpress
