CAM’s staff has over 50 years of combined experience in association management of non-profit organizations in the areas of construction, higher education, healthcare, technology, and sustainability. Our core competencies include membership retention and recruitment; strategic marketing & sales, including non-dues revenue; certification and ANSI accreditation; publications; conference and meeting planning; new program development; financial management; and other services. We provide quality service, strategic thinking, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with every client. Meeting planners are facing rising costs despite larger budgets, according to Global DMC Partners’ Q3 2024 Meetings & Events Pulse Survey. While 39 percent of respondents reported budget increases, expenses for venues, food and beverage, AV, and transportation have surged 10 to 30 percent over the past two years, impacting DEI and accessibility efforts. Planners are offsetting costs by consolidating events, reducing program days, and cutting AV expenses. Global DMC Partners CEO Catherine Chaulet highlighted strategies such as negotiating multi-year contracts and leveraging immediate payments for discounts. The use of AI tools, particularly chatbots, has increased, though planners remain cautious about privacy and reliability concerns.
