"On International Women's Day, I would like to acknowledge the many women in our organization whose contributions have been essential to our success. The theme for International Women’s Day this year is “Invest in women: Accelerate progress.” It’s an acknowledgement that we can’t achieve progress without fully supporting women in every way – from investing resources in women-owned businesses to ensuring women have equal access to training and career advancement in the workplace. At Asplundh, we have worked to increase the representation of women across every facet of our business. " #OneAsplundh #InternationalWomensDay #WomensHistoryMonth
On International Women's Day, I would like to acknowledge the many women in our organization whose contributions have been essential to our success. The United Nations theme for International Women’s Day this year is “Invest in women: Accelerate progress.” It’s an acknowledgement that we can’t achieve progress without fully supporting women in every way – from investing resources in women-owned businesses to ensuring women have equal access to training and career advancement in the workplace. At Asplundh, we have worked to increase the representation of women across every facet of our business. We have invested in women-owned companies that support our work and have instituted programs to ensure our procurement practices include women-owned and managed suppliers. We continue to identify, hire and promote women within our company, from top positions on our leadership team to every level of employment at our Home Office and in the field. The Home Office also recently created a Women’s Business Resource Group for women to connect in our workplace. We are proud of the progress these efforts have produced. I want to thank all the women who do so much for Asplundh each and every day. You play a vital role in our industry and within our company. We want you to know that you can count on continued support as we grow together. #OneAsplundh #InternationalWomensDay #WomensHistoryMonth
