Earlier this month, #Aspiritech held its annual picnic that included staff, board members and participants in our Stepping Up and Out program. We want to once again thank Josh's Hot Dogs and Kona Ice for the great food. This year, we held our picnic in City of Evanston's Lovelace Park. 🌭🍔🥤🍧🌞 #Evanston #EvanstonIllinois #CityOfEvanston #LovelacePark #JoshsHotDogs #KonaIce #SummerPicnic #CompanyPicnic #NonProfit

"Having self-compassion and advocating for yourself as best you can is not only hopefully empowering for individuals on the spectrum, but also educational for providers who lack an understanding of how they might be impacting you. Yes, it can be uncomfortable and the last thing you feel like doing when you need care, but if a provider isn’t willing to hear your needs, are they someone you want to work with anyway?" https://hubs.li/Q02H5HS10 #JuliaWild #Neurodivergent #AutisticAdults #ActuallyAutistic

We like our pets like we like our software: friendly, reliable, and free of bugs. It’s an honor to assist veterinary management software providers like Hippo Manager Software, Inc. in helping vets keep our furry friends happy and healthy. 🐶🐱🐾 How do we do it? July is Disability Pride Month. This month marks 34 years since the Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into law. Different autistics have different views whether they see their autism as a disability. Many do, requiring accommodations for working, transportation, sensory issues, activities of daily living and more. It is important to take the needs of each person seriously, and not to assume that the needs of one autistic person (or anyone with a disability) is the same as another, even if they seem to have a similar disability. https://hubs.li/Q02HHwx10. #DisabilityPrideMonth #DisabilityPride #Disabilities #Autism #Autistics #Neurodivergent #ADA #AmericansWithDisabilityAct #Inclusion #Acceptance #DEI

“Having bugs and issues with new software releases is not uncommon (also in the cybersecurity space). Usually, these bugs are discovered and solved in a matter of hours, days, or even months, sometimes they are discovered very late or after an attacker has exploited these software vulnerabilities." QA is the best, proven methodology for discovering bugs and vulnerabilities BEFORE someone exploits them. And that someone is almost always a bad guy. Work with the good guys first. (Our team is standing by and ready to help you with that. 😉) #MicrosoftOutage #Aspiritech #QualityAssurance #SoftwareDevelopment https://hubs.li/Q02HhMNS0

"When a single flawed piece of software is released over the internet, it can almost instantly damage countless companies and organizations that depend on those software providers to conduct everyday business." Take it from us: Quality assurance isn't an optional add-on to your dev ops. It is a critical, strategic piece that helps prevent major problems. #MicrosoftOutage #Aspiritech #QualityAssurance #SoftwareDevelopment https://hubs.li/Q02HhXp00
