ASME is best known for our Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, published in 1915 and codified in law by more than 100 countries. Today, there are 600 ASME codes and standards. We offer networking and professional development for our members, including 25 conferences and 200 training courses annually. Our Engineering Festivals draw thousands of students, our journals publish new research, and we highlight exciting innovations in global development through our Engineering for Change initiative.
