The ASE Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that evaluates and accredits entry-level automotive technology education programs against standards developed by the automotive service industry. It also develops career-readiness education for students which fuse local partnerships, rigorous standard-based education, workplace experience, and mentorship together.

    ASE Education Foundation Congratulates SkillsUSA Medalists from ASE-Accredited Schools Students from ASE-accredited programs were among the champions at the recent SkillsUSA competition held last month in Atlanta, Georgia. “It’s truly gratifying to see how well students from ASE-accredited automotive, collision and truck/diesel programs performed in the recent SkillsUSA competition,” said Mike Coley, president of the ASE Education Foundation. “These students have acquired skills essential for entering the workforce as entry-level technicians, highlighting them as the future of the industry. Congratulations to the students and the instructors who encouraged them to excel in their respective fields.     ASE Education Foundation Honors Colorado Teacher Brian Manley with Byrl Shoemaker Award! Brian Manley, an automotive teacher and department head at Cherry Creek Innovation Campus in Centennial, Colorado, was honored as the 2024 Byrl Shoemaker/ASE Education Foundation Instructor of the Year during the ASE Instructor Training Conference held last week in Minneapolis. “Brian is an exceptional instructor who has demonstrated unwavering dedication and commitment to nurturing the next generation of automotive service professionals,” said Steve Day, principal at Cherry Creek Innovation Campus and the individual who nominated Manley for the award. “Brian's passion for technical education is unparalleled. As an instructor within our ASE-accredited automotive program, he consistently goes above and beyond to inspire and mentor our students.
