About us
Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (AECC) is a generation and transmission cooperative headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas. Founded in 1949, AECC is the wholesale power supplier for Arkansas' 17 electric distribution cooperatives. The member cooperatives serve homes, farms and businesses representing approximately 1 million ultimate consumers in Arkansas and surrounding states by providing them with reliable and affordable electricity in a responsible manner. Electric cooperatives are member-owned and democratically controlled businesses. The electric cooperatives in Arkansas have service areas that cover more than 60 percent of Arkansas' land mass. AECC offers a competitive benefits and compensation package.
