About us

The Arizona Diamondbacks have won five National League West Division Championships (1999, 2001-02, 2007, 2011) since entering Major League Baseball as an expansion franchise in 1998. The D-backs also became the fastest expansion team to win a World Series Championship after defeating the New York Yankees in the 2001 World Series in only their fourth year of existence. The club plays its games at Chase Field in downtown Phoenix, which features a signature swimming pool and a retractable roof, to keep fans comfortable in an air-conditioned facility during the hot summer months. The organization has also given back more than $55 million to non-profit organizations in Arizona since 1997 through its Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and is consistently named among the “Best Places to Work” by the Phoenix Business Journal and BestCompaniesAZ. We cannot wait to celebrate so many incredible ladies across the Valley during Friday's #Dbacks Women's Night! That includes many of our own talented Team Players, like Logan Winter, an integral part of our Clubhouse Creative team, and the designer of this year's D-backs women's corduroy hat (get it by purchasing a special ticket package at www.dbacks.com/women). Logan graduated from Grand Canyon University with a passion for design and sports, and combined the two with an internship at the D-backs, where she is now a full-time graphic designer. She got her love of sports from the most inspirational woman in her life, her mom, who taught her about double plays and the most effective way to yell at the TV when your team is playing. Though Logan's mom passed away from breast cancer when she was just 15, she carries her legacy and passion for sports with her, and is able to share it with so many female sports fans right here at Chase Field. "When I am at a game, I can look around and I can see so many women who are just like her. They are screaming at the team to run faster, hit harder, and going absolutely crazy at a grand slam, just like she would’ve been. So, to the women who love sports: keep cheering on your teams loudly, keeping teaching others the rules of the game, and keep fearlessly sharing your passions, because you never know who’s lives you’re helping shape in the process." Thank you Logan for sharing your story and your talents with us at the D-backs!

This past weekend our #Dbacks Nike MLB RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner-Cities) baseball and softball teams competed in the RBI West Regionals, and we could not be prouder of these talented, young athletes! The 32 all-stars are from schools around Arizona who participated in our RBI program this summer and were then hand-selected by our D-backs Baseball Academy coaches to compete against other RBI teams from around the league. Both teams showed incredible passion and effort, and our baseball team secured a spot in the RBI World Series next month 👏

The #Dbacks Nike MLB RBI baseball and softball teams are headed to the RBI Regionals in STYLE courtesy of Corbin Carroll and our D-backs Give Back team! We loved surprising these incredible young athletes with new custom jerseys and Nike gear earlier this week at Chase Field. A guest appearance from our 2023 Rookie of the Year highlighted a very special day at the ballpark honoring these hard-working kids, whose dedication to the game is unmatched 👏 We are so proud of our kids and wish them the best of luck in Seattle!

Last week, the High Performance Center at Banner Sports Medicine Scottsdale partnered with the Arizona Diamondbacks to host the D-backs Nike RBI program, a free outreach program for youth ages 5-18. The program is designed to increase participation and interest in baseball and softball, encourage academic achievement, and teach the value of teamwork. These young athletes got to train like the pros, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities and receiving guidance from the Diamondbacks organization. Thank you, Arizona Diamondbacks and D-backs Give Back, for an amazing experience!

During tonight's game the #Dbacks raised awareness about Williams Syndrome in support of Mia Sawdaye, daughter of Assistant General Manager Amiel Sawdaye. Mia was born with the rare condition characterized by medical problems involving cardiovascular disease, developmental delays and learning challenges. D-backs players sported special shirts prior to the game and the D-backs hosted over 1,400 guests impacted by the disease. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/gneGERQZ
