Aptima has been selected as one of six semi-finalists in the Navy Surface Warfare Combat Training Continuum Prize Challenge! The Central Florida Tech Grove, in partnership with the Naval Surface Warfare Center, the Office of Naval Research (ONR), Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), and the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN), executed a prize challenge to identify solutions to a critical barrier in assessing training effectiveness and performance assessments for Watchstander training onboard ships. Our PROPEL-based solution leverages the precision learning platform to seamlessly integrate observer assessments and simulator data, delivering real-time, data-driven insights into human performance. Using machine learning, it provides targeted remediation, optimizes training complexity, and supports mission readiness by modeling skill development and degradation. We’re eager to present our solution at the Virtual Demo Day on September 26! Winners will be announced on September 30. Stay tuned and wish us luck!
