9/11 A date, a memory, a nightmare, a piece of our lives that will forever be marked as the darkest day in our nation’s history. A day none of us could have ever predicted, nor any of us would wish to live to see again. An attack on innocent citizens that left holes in thousands of Americans that would never be repaired. 9/11 was the worst day in America’s history, but 9/12 came shortly thereafter. On 9/12 everyone was an American. On 9/12 everyone was a neighbor, a friend, a family member, and at the end of the day there was only one enemy. The one that decided to knock those buildings down in an attempt to tear us apart. But on 9/12, America was one. United We Stand, and United We Stood. We stood together in a bond stronger than this country has ever seen. One that we all wish we could see again, regardless of age, social status, race, religion or whatever other metric that some people want us to judge others by, our country just needs to be one again. Just as the two lights in the picture shine indefinitely into the sky above, each independently representing their own designated fallen tower as a symbol of strength and identity, we too as Americans should be able to do the same. Regardless of your beliefs, we can all stand together and find common ground to reunite. Let your light shine, but let it shine as an American. Be proud, but be an American. Help us congratulate Keith Walton on 10 years of service. Keith started with Applied in the office back in 2014 as the Safety/OQ Manager conducting OQ’s for inspectors and clients, safety inspections and safety coaching. Prior to Applied he worked for other 3rd party service companies in similar roles. However, one thing you may not know about Keith is that he was a coach in East Texas for over 20 years. His last coaching assignment was the head baseball coach at Henderson High School in Henderson, TX which is also his alma mater and where he still resides with high school sweetheart, Buffie Walton. Although he may not be a high school coach anymore, the mentality and approach he utilized during his coaching career has most definitely rolled over into his oil and gas career. Keith is now the Director of Business Development for Applied but still wears many hats other than just developing business. He continues to perform OQ training for our employees and clients, assists the operations department in staffing projects, co-pilot champion, golf instructor, dad joke butcherer, ribeye connoisseur and many others. However, if you were to ask him what his biggest role is he would tell you that he just wants to make a difference in people’s lives. He is always volunteering to help out with community charity events, especially when it involves children, first responders or military beneficiaries. He has been a staple here at Applied and still coaches us all at times when needed. You can always count on him to have joke or comment during a tense moment to lighten everyone’s mood and put things into perspective. Keith has a heart of gold, two stints, will give you the shirt off his back and has been an integral part of everything Applied is today. So please help us in not only saying congratulations to Keith, but also a big thank you as well. We appreciate you more than you know.

Congratulations to Glo Hu on her 10-year work anniversary!
🎉 Congratulations to Glo Hu on her 10-year Milestone with Eagle Infrastructure! We are extremely proud to announce the 10-year anniversary of Glo Hu, the Corporate E-Business Manager at Eagle Infrastructure Services, Inc. Glo joined Applied Consultants in August 2014 and moved up to Eagle Infrastructure (Applied’s parent company) in September 2018. Glo currently oversees all corporate branding and marketing. She has designed and continues to maintain the Eagle website, as well as each of the Eagle business units’ sites (6 total). She is a superb graphic designer, web designer, and all-around design guru, producing all marketing material for the Eagle brand. She is great at creating and implementing functional processes when it comes to new hire paperwork, HR documents, and everything in between. She constantly comes up with new ideas that bring the needed flare to our businesses. Her technical expertise is only one side of her professional commitment. Glo has the biggest heart and warmest smile; she is consistently upbeat and always carries a joyful attitude. This is contagious for those who work with or near her. When she’s not inundated with marketing updates and graphic design for Eagle Infrastructure, she is also volunteering her time and talents for other organizations such as Jake Wilson Foundation, Ultimate High School Fishing, and many others. Glo is an all-around TEAM player and helps wherever it is needed. She helps with tasks such as Christmas party helper/ Christmas card creator, health-conscious fruit supplier for office grazing, and all-around positive morale queen. Her true passion for the success of Eagle Infrastructure and companies shines in everything she does. We are so grateful to have you on our team. As many have heard, we unfortunately lost what most would say as “one of the best” this past week. All of us at Applied were fortunate to work with Shane over the last several years and we hope everyone reading this message had the opportunity to meet or work with him at some point. Shane was one of a kind and without a shadow of a doubt he was one of the most loyal, dedicated and selfless members of the Applied family that we’ve ever known.
