For over a century, working families in Richmond have picked up the bill for Chevron’s pollution. This year, Richmond made history — forcing the oil giant to offer up $550 million to fund essential services and a #JustTransition. Building on *decades* of organizing against Chevron, our communities came together behind a new idea: a #PollutersPay tax that would make big polluters pay for the damage they've caused. Our communities got creative, and Chevron got scared — to the tune of $550 million. Our APEN Night Market was such a beautiful celebration – thank you to everyone who attended or supported our 30th anniversary celebration from afar!
