We would like to extend our congratulations to Dr. David Yee on his recent appointment as incoming chair of the APAPA-GAC! 🎉 Congratulations to all the high school students who participated in APAPA's National Youth Leadership Academy (YLA)! Out of 100 applicants, 60 students from across the nation (including New York, California, Massachusetts, Texas, Utah, Indiana, and more) were selected to participate in leadership development workshops covering 16 learning objectives, and present policy proposals to six U.S. congressional offices. 👏 A special shout out to the committee leaders, elected by their peers, who took on various chair and vice-chair positions! What an incredible turnout! Over 50 participants joined us last week for the APAPA-Government Appointments Committee (GAC) Reception to learn more about the gubernatorial appointments process.
