About us
As a local San Francisco Bay Area general engineering contractor, Anvil Builders specializes in public works and infrastructure projects with an approach that is firmly structured on military standards, performance, and ethics. To date, Anvil Builders has successfully delivered and self-performed tens of millions of dollars in municipal, state, and federal contracts. Some of our recently completed work includes several of the Bay Area’s major infrastructure projects, including the Transbay Terminal, SFO Airport, and the historic Coit Tower. We are dedicated to building and supporting our community by providing opportunities through local unions and CityBuild. Meet Louie, a superintendent who has been with Anvil Builders for 11 years. He started as a laborer, and has held positions as a carpenter, lead, foreman and general foreman, before becoming a superintendent. His favorite part about working for Anvil is that everyone gets treated as family. His favorite part working in the construction industry is that it’s always a challenge. Meet Monica, a foreman and heavy equipment operator with Anvil Builders who has been with our team for about 2 months. Monica’s favorite thing about Anvil is the people! Her favorite thing about construction is being challenged every day. No two jobs are the same, and she enjoys having to think outside the box. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, camping, cooking, and gardening. With 20 years of experience in the industry as a construction foreman, she is happy to join Anvil Builders and be a part of the amazing team! Meet Casildo, a summer 2024 project engineer intern who started with us in May of this year. Casildo is joining us from UC Berkeley. His favorite part about interning with Anvil Builders is the crew he works with, there’s a lot of cool people. His favorite part about construction is that there’s always something new that you get to deal with and solve. No two days are ever the same, which teaches you how to adjust accordingly on the fly to meet the projects’ goals. Outside of work he enjoys working out and hanging out with friends. We’re lucky to have Casildo as an intern this summer! #AnvilTeam #AnvilIntern
