About us
Anne Carlsen Center is a non-profit organization which has been providing supports and services for 80 years to individuals in North Dakota with developmental disability or delay. Rich in tradition, We has positioned ourselves on the cutting edge of innovation with unique programs, creative therapies and advanced assistive technologies that meet the specific needs of those we serve. When our doors opened in 1941, we served drastically different individuals than we do today. Our current clients have far more complex physical, behavioral and learning needs and the geographical region where we offer programming has grown from a regional hub to a statewide presence. We help nurture the abilities of more than 2,600 individuals with thirteen office locations offering life-changing services in every county in North Dakota.

Last Wednesday, the Wednesday Walking Women stopped by the Ballantyne Berg Campus to get their steps in and learn more about the services we provide. The Wednesday Walking Women (WWW) is a local group of retired teachers that have been walking together every morning for almost 12 years, rain or shine! Their group has never missed a Wednesday and find ways to connect even when they can't all walk together. Thank you, ladies, for visiting us and the impact you have all shared in education!
