Last week, a group of Amundi US associates traveled to Cathleen Stone Island (formerly known as Thompson Island) for Volunteer Day. Along with two other volunteer groups, the team spent the day raking and composting leaves, and taking part in a beach cleanup. They also got a tour of the island and learned about the island’s history. Since 1833, the Island has been a beacon for experiential education, empowering young people through hands-on learning, skill building and outdoor adventure and exploration. Thank you to the volunteers!

[#Event] | #PRIinPerson 2024 - Shaping the Future of Responsible Investment took place last week! During the Amundi Networking Breakfast on “Accelerating the transition to a low carbon economy: from climate risk valuation to implementation,” guest speakers shared insights on climate risk modelling assessment and asset owner perspectives. Annie Joyce, Head of ESG at Amundi US, shared her valuable insights: 1) Unpacking ESG - E, S, and G remain financially material, with an emphasis that materiality can vary by sector, geography, factor and time horizon 2) Balancing act - decarbonizing a portfolio does not always translate to real world decarbonization - managing this and ensuring diversification need to be balanced 3) Electrification queue - in the US, the interconnection queue of clean energy projects reached over 2.5 terawatts - twice the size of the entire existing US electrical grid. How do we collectively unlock this potential?
