Recent weather events have impacted AmSty operations in Joliet and The Woodlands. During these events, our team's safety and wellbeing is always top of mind. A powerful storm in the Chicago area caused electricity disruptions at our Joliet facility, halting production for our team to assess and repair the damage to ensure a safe working environment and quality production. Additionally, Tropical Storm Beryl brought widespread power and internet outages to The Woodlands, affecting our headquarters and many employees' homes.  On Monday, July 15, a tornado formed in the vicinity of our Joliet plant, estimated by the NWS as an EF-2 in size, that caused widespread disruption in the area due to wind damage and power outages. We are thankful that our employees and their families are safe, and our plant did not sustain significant wind damage – although the plant did sustain impacts from the abrupt and total loss of power. We are assessing those impacts and working on mitigating actions at this time.  Thanks to our mitigation plans, we've minimized the impact and ensured uninterrupted customer service. We're thankful that our team members and their families are safe, and that we are able to still provide our customers with essential products.

Teamwork makes all the difference! Thanks to our team members who stepped up to grill at this year's annual grill out in St. James.

Meet the team that saved the day. At the last minute, our cook for July 4th had an emergency. 2 hours prior to lunch, these guys made it happened. They stepped up like always, lit that grill and before you know it, the food was served. Thank you guys. That's what AmSty is all about, family. We are truly a blessed family. Thanks for all that you do!
