🎉 I had the absolute pleasure of joining our Amigos For Kids LEAD (Learning, Enrichment, & Academic Development) Afterschool Program team as we took our 5th grade students from the afterschool program to Magic Kingdom for their end-of-year trip! 🌟✨ For many of the students and their parents, it was their very first time experiencing the magic of Disney Seeing the joy and wonder on their faces was truly priceless. One of the kids even said it was “the best day ever.” Moments like these remind me why I’m so passionate about our mission at Amigos for Kids—giving students experiences that would otherwise be out of reach. It’s about creating lasting memories and opening doors to new possibilities. Huge thanks to everyone who helped make this unforgettable day a reality! 🏰🎢 #AmigosForKids #MagicKingdom #EndOfYearTrip #CreatingMemories #EmpoweringKids #CommunityLove #MakingDreamsComeTrue The Walt Disney Company Jenniffer Dorcinvil I John Serret, CPA I The Children's Trust of Miami-Dade County

“The Missing Review” is a new and interactive ad campaign that ingeniously employs reviews on Google and Yelp, where 88% of internet users search for recommendations and ratings. It aims to strategically add information about missing children to five-star reviews for establishments located in the vicinity of where these children were last seen in hopes of spreading the word in the local community, prompting a broader search of their whereabouts and, ultimately, improving their chances of returning home. - Republica Havas, Amigos For Kids https://lnkd.in/e8p4iSzB #tomilli #republicahavas #amigosforkids #missingreview #campaign

Every 40 seconds, a child disappears in the United States, a staggering reality we can't ignore. Inspired by this urgent issue, our team at Amigos For Kids collaborated with Republica Havas to innovate in the realm of digital awareness campaigns with The Missing Review, a groundbreaking initiative for Child Abuse Prevention Month. Traditionally, missing children campaigns relied on flyers and milk carton images. But in the digital age, we knew we needed to adapt. So, we turned to Google and Yelp, transforming ordinary reviews into beacons of hope. By embedding missing children's information in reviews and comments for establishments near last seen locations, we aimed to ignite a nationwide movement of awareness. The response has been overwhelming and thus far has garnered over 13 million impressions on Google and Yelp alone. But it's not just about numbers; it's about impact. Business owners across the country have embraced and amplified our message, proving that community engagement is key in tackling such critical issues. The Missing Review isn't just a campaign; it's a catalyst for change. By harnessing the power of digital platforms, we're rewriting the narrative on raising awareness for missing children. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Univision Primer Impacto for shining a spotlight on this groundbreaking campaign. Join us in this dynamic and participatory approach to combat exploitation and bring missing children home. Together, we can make a difference. #TheMissingReview #ChildAbusePrevention Jorge Plasencia
