Raise your hand if you were at AmericanHort #Cultivate24 last week! We're still reeling from all the incredible people, plants, insights and innovations gathered under one roof. One of the greatest opportunities for growth at Cultivate is the educational content, and our team was thrilled to take part in a number of sessions this year. Our three favorite takeaways? - "Purpose Powered Marketing" Grace M. of Everde Growers emphasized the importance of innovation in purpose powered marketing. Innovation is a two-way street—great companies gather insights globally, then apply them to accelerate regional solutions. - "Translating Social Media Trends" In this session, panelist, influencer, and social media expert KariAnne Wood highlighted the power of storytelling in social media marketing. By focusing on the journey of a plant or project and sharing that story over days, weeks, or months, you can attract new followers and build an engaged, interested audience. - "Social Media Summer Camp" Our counselors provided hands-on demonstrations for capturing great social media videos, highlighting the importance of an editorial calendar. Creating content in bulk, rather than day-of, allows for more strategic and consistent posting. What was your favorite lesson learned at Cultivate 2024? Share your thoughts and let's continue the conversation! #Cultivate2024 #horticulture #gardenindustry #horticultureindustry #americanhort

Thanks to the contributions of these generous donors, the Horticultural Research Institute has funded $10.7 Million in crucial research, as well as thousands in scholarships for students studying horticulture and supporting the HRI Leadership Academy. Tonight we celebrate those accomplishments and many more to come!

From all of us at AmericanHort, have a safe and happy Independence Day! As we look to enjoy the holiday with our family, friends, and loved ones, not only do we reflect on the lasting efforts our founding fathers made to afford us the freedoms we enjoy today, but also that some of our founding fathers were avid horticulturalists, namely George Washington and Thomas Jefferson!
