"𝗢𝗵, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂," was something I constantly heard in my life. That hit me hard. I wanted to prove myself. I worked hard through college and ended up being the only girl with multiple placement offers. Eventually, I pursued a double master’s in two cities simultaneously while working a full-time job. It was tough, but it shaped who I am today. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗔𝘆𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘆, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳? Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude. Just take a deep breath and know that you have a good life, good food to eat, good people around you. Whatever happens, you will be able to deal with it, or people will help you deal with it. One of my fondest memories is going back from school to my nani (maternal grandmother) and eating with her. She was more like a mother to me as I grew up with her. She herself was a vegetarian, but she used to cook chicken for me. That is something I dearly miss. On Sundays, I used to have breakfast with my mamu (mother’s brother). We would have poha with crispy jalebi, which is a famous breakfast in MP, Indore, and those areas. It tastes amazing. These are my most precious memories. 𝗜𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. It does. I LOVE food. It's how I connect with people, you know? Trying to eat healthy can be tricky when you're always wanting to taste new things, haha. But a good meal just makes everything better for me. I actually have a bachelor's in hotel management. 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱? Not really. The good part is that none of the major decisions in my life were pre-planned. When I was pursuing my M.A in English literature, one of my teachers met with an accident and needed someone to replace her in a hotel management college. I didn’t have much going on in my life, so I agreed. You could say that the universe laid its path for me, and I just followed. That is how I ended up at amber as well. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆?𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗼? One day, I randomly came across a job posting from amber and had applied. It was around then that my father had a heart attack. So when Jignesh from amber called, I had to decline the offer and said that maybe after a month or two, I could try. And guess what? Two months later, he reached out again, checking on my dad and asking if I needed any help. He was very empathetic, and that really touched me. He truly believed in my potential.
