Aaaaand we're back! Conference season can be a real... great time of year 😅. To get back on the podcasting train 🚂 , we've got none other than our good friend and productivity guru Michael Cupps. Cupps lays out some clear processes on how to not allow distractions to derail focus, advocating for a disciplined approach to managing interruptions. By creating a conducive work environment and setting clear boundaries, sales professionals can ensure that their selling hours are used most effectively. We call it "the last human hack." AI is taking over the world, but there is still so much to unlock with humans, you can't beat a truly productive workforce. Check out his episode and past ones as well and welcome back to the Great Day in Sales Podcast!

We make revenue leaders LOOK GOOD. Who knew sales KPI's and good looking apparel would go so well together. Postal named basically named us a swaggy sovereign and crowned us with one of the best booth draws at SaaStr. We couldn't be more pleased and can't wait to do something similar at Pavilion GTM event in October.

👑 We’ve crowned our Swag Awards winners from SaaStr 2024! 👑 At Postal, we believe swag should be more than just a giveaway. That’s why we're all about celebrating brands that take the time to design high-quality, thoughtful, and useful swag that attendees actually want to keep. This year at SaaStr, we teamed up with Leslie Barrett to highlight some brands leading the charge in memorable swag! Here’s a shoutout to our winners, based on what we learned from our State of Swag study: 🏆 Alysio: Attendees were raving about their ultra-comfy sweatshirts! The subtle logo and premium feel gave their swag station the look of a high-end boutique. 🏆 ChurnZero: Who doesn’t love swag for themselves, or something they can give to others? Their plush toy monster and bandana were thoughtful, multi-use items for attendees, their furry friends, or children! 🏆 Fidelity Private Shares: A custom cartoonist drew event attendees on the spot—talk about creating an experience! It wasn’t just swag; it was a personalized keepsake that attendees could cherish long after the event. Our takeaway? Quality and utility matter more than ever when it comes to swag! These brands nailed it. 👏

It’s not about added revenue anymore - it’s about consistent high performance effort and creativity over time. But the problem is, leading indicators aren’t as sexy to report to the board or c-suite than added revenue, no matter the stage of the company. So how do you change the expectation of “new revenue or failure?” Your team’s KPI’s should be REVENUE GENERATING ACTIVITIES. If you know your ICP and you know deals close when you have demos with a specific decision maker, in the right industry, at the right company size, at the right time - then your team’s leading indicators should be focused on the activities that drive that desired result. It seems simple, but most companies I talk to over complicate it for their GTM teams and waste time just putting a quota in front of them without a clear path of how to get there. Consistent performance stems from understanding and improving the processes that lead to success. I see it happening occasionally in a CRM, but I’ve seen it work best in a platform like what Alysio is building. A simple daily framework for KPI’s and revenue generating activities. Hit your goal every day and you’ll see the revenue come in. Revenue can’t come in unless you have a path for success, a platform to track performance, and a coaching strategy to improve it. It doesn't have to be complicated.

Sam Nelson everyone! The man is more than his blue hair. He's been waving the SDR flag for years since his early days at Outreach and since launching his own brand, community, and now event coming this Nov in Austin. Sam is an incredible community builder and advocate for the sales development position. Last year's Pipeline Pipeline saw a completely maxed out atendee list as well as speakers that had peoples phones out snapping pictures like I've never seen before. "Building a sustainable go-to-market strategy is essential. You can have the best mission in the world and be incredibly passionate about it, but without a clear ROI for customers and a scalable sales motion, your impact will be minimal. Learning to sell challenging products early in my career taught me invaluable lessons that paved the way." This is definitely one you'll want to listen to! Check out the full episode and link to our podcast page for more long form content in the article. Keep selling 🤙

Are we even GTM software if we don't spin up an occasional commiserating meme? The reality is - we feel every sales person out there who is not sure about hitting their target. It's no joking matter. Until you find a great meme - than we can laugh a little. But in all seriousness, if you're worried about missing your mark, here's a few things you can do. 👨🔬 Sales math - work backwards and understand your performance. 🥅 Set DAILY, not weekly/monthly/quarterly goals 🏋♀️ Identify revenue generating activities that you can do everyday 👯 Talk to mentors, managers for help - don't do it alone 💪 Find warm opportunities - don't rely on sheer cold strength The best thing you can do... STAY POSITIVE And drawing a picture of that Rolex watch you want to afford wouldn't hurt either. Get after it. Middle of the quarter (for most) so make it happen.

Anthony Delonardo everyone! This guy is a clear believer in "controlling the controllables." We like kinds of revenue leaders on the Great Day in Sales Podcast. He's taken teams and built them from the ground up focused on so much more than metrics. His teams love and appreciate him and look to him for guidance on how to be succesful. Focusing on daily execution for long-term success, he shares. “It’s the process, not the outcome, that defines a great day for us and our team,” Anthony also breaks down how creating urgency in niche markets and leveraging institutional knowledge can boost conversions. “Success comes from executing what we can control perfectly, day after day.” This is a good one - we're big Anthony fans over here and you will be too after this episode. Cheers! Keep Selling! 👏 #SalesSuccess #GreatDayInSales #SalesLeadership #Podcast
