HOUSING STARTS | According to EyeOnHousing, the June overall housing starts climbed by 3.0% to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.35 million units. The high interest rates for mortgages and construction loans continue to moderate construction as well as demand. Despite a slight 2.2% dip in single-family starts from May, the year-to-date figures show a 16.1% increase, so far in 2024. The Federal Reserve is expected to begin rate reduction later this year which will help buyers as well as builders and developers. 🏠Read More... https://lnkd.in/d3ydrfXj
