Aloha Air Cargo strives to provide fast, convenient, economical, and reliable cargo service throughout the State of Hawaii. From the convenience of our Same Day Express, Loveable Pet Air Service and Aloha FlexShip, Aloha is committed to meeting your cargo needs with the care and attention Hawaii has come to trust. The warm hearts, familiar faces, and superior service of Aloha’s ohana have helped to foster close relationships with many shippers, clients and business owners since 1985, when the cargo division began. It is due to this aloha spirit and attention to service that Aloha’s regular shippers trust only them for their shipping needs. Aloha Air Cargo handles over 70% of all interisland air cargo shipped to and from all major airport locations: Honolulu, Oahu; Kahului, Maui; Lihue, Kauai; and Hilo and Kailua-Kona on the Island of Hawaii. Through partnerships with other Hawaii airlines and international carriers, Aloha can also arrange shipments from any Hawaii city to any destination worldwide. And yet, even as the most experienced air cargo shipper in Hawaii, Aloha continues to improve its operations by running more efficiently, consistently and above all, safely. In total, Aloha has over 450 dedicated employees – comprised of some of Hawaii’s top cargo agents, pilots, mechanics, engineers and other shipping-industry professionals – making it a major employer, offering important skill-based jobs within the Hawaii economy. Aloha Air Cargo is the air cargo operator of choice for local businesses, just as Aloha Airlines was the local people’s airline. We kicked off our new Keiki Explorer Program this week by welcoming students from the Our Lady of Good Counsel School for a day of aviation fun! Students spent the day getting to know Aloha Air Cargo employees - pilots, mechanics, and the sales team – and toured the inside of one of our planes. They also learned the importance Hawai’i places on cargo airlines to sustain our islands as well as other aviation topics such as the physics of flight, plane maintenance, flight ops, and various careers within aviation. The day was fun for all, and we hope the program becomes a new tradition for years to come!
