At Ally, we are deeply committed to supporting our colleagues and communities in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida as they deal with the catastrophic damage caused by Hurricane Helene. We support our teammates through the Ally Employee Relief Fund and have also pledged $100,000 to aid the hardest-hit areas, including a donation to the American Red Cross for immediate relief efforts and longer-term donations to several community organizations in those states that are dedicated to rebuilding these communities.

We recently hosted a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration that infused cultural flavor at the Spirit of Detroit Plaza. Hundreds of attendees explored art from Metro Detroit’s Latino community, danced to Latin American music and showcased their soccer skills at the Detroit City FC’s inflatable kick game. It was a cultural extravaganza to remember!

Ally and The Allen Lewis Agency hosted students from local HBCUs and alumni of the Divine Nine schools for an evening performance of The Disney's Lion King, including a meet-and-greet with cast and crew. HBCU students had the chance to enjoy the show and learn about various theater career paths. The purpose of the evening was to expose students in the community to diverse career opportunities, advance workforce development and address economic mobility challenges.

Kicking off the school year with an Ally Girls Basketball Clinic 🏀✨ We had a blast teaming up with Detroit Pistons to host an all-girls basketball clinic, where participants got to test their skills through drills and games, and even assist the Pistons Extreme Team in their basketball stunts! To help celebrate school starting back, all participants left with an Ally x Pistons bookbag, clinic t-shirt, and some fun school supplies to get them ready for the school year ahead!

Congratulations to Karen Ford, winner of the Ally Sees Her Award, developed with NAMAD to recognize a woman of color in auto retail for their commitment to community and diversity.
