One of only 14 FAA-licensed spaceports in the United States

About us

One of only 14 FAA-licensed spaceports in the entire United States. With its 13,503’x300’ runway and unique 150-mile space flight corridor operated and controlled by the Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority (OSIDA), the Oklahoma Air and Spaceport and 1,100-acre Industrial Park at Clinton-Sherman Airport in Burns Flat is an incredible resource ready for service. Flight research and development and testing capabilities abound where the limitations on restricted airspace and operations in or near Military Operation Areas (MOAs) do not exist. The flight corridor, with its northwestern Polar trajectory, is nearly 150 miles long and averages about 45 miles in width traversing the Texas and Oklahoma panhandle from the ground all the way to space providing an airspace capable of testing multiple types of aerospace vehicles. The Oklahoma Air and Spaceport has a state-of-the-art capable launch facility complete with a telemetry & monitoring room, air traffic control tower, fire and rescue team, and even fueling (FBO) capabilities.
