I am incredibly proud to be recognized as the 2024 Eric Talley Memorial Award recipient for my role as UAS Program Manager at the Brookhaven Police Department.
This award is named in memory of Officer Eric Talley of the Boulder, CO PD, a true hero, and it is a humbling honor to carry forward his legacy of excellence in public safety operations.
This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of not just myself but of Matt Murray, Samuel Jones and several others on our team who continue to leverage drone technology to enhance public safety in City of Brookhaven, Georgia.
Special thanks to DRONERESPONDERS and AIRT for this prestigious recognition, and to the amazing sponsors who made this award possible. Charles Werner, thank you for your unrelenting advocacy for our cause.
I owe my biggest thanks to my wife and girls whose support and encouragement have pushed me to always think big.
A tremendous thanks to the past & present elected officials, city & police department leadership, along with our supportive citizens who contribute greatly to our ability to do big things in Brookhaven.
I’d also like to thank all of our vendors who from the moment I called and said we were going to do #DFR in Brookhaven stepped up to the plate to help us get to where we are today. With your support and partnership we’ve developed a highly capable drone program built on hard work, cognitive flexibility, and no 💨 &🪞. Thanks for your honesty and integrity along the way. You never took advantage of us in the early stages when we knew very little about drones.
If I named everyone who contributed to our success this would arguably be the longest post in LinkedIn history. I won’t go there but please accept my sincere thanks for all you do and have done for our team and myself🫡.
Here’s to continued innovation and collaboration as we strive to bring #dronesforgood to every community.
