2024 has been amazing so far! I was fortunate enough to be recommended to participate in the Commit2Care video (highlighted by AIHA and dBase media in my previous posts) due to my work with the AIHA Back to Work Safely (BTWS) task force. I am extremely proud of the work that we performed during the pandemic! The video came out great and really shines a light on the work that AIHA and IBEC are continuing through the Commit2Care initiative. Following filming, I attended AIHA Connect 2024, a conference I look forward to every year. However, this year, I had the added bonus of being the welcome speaker! When I was asked, at first I kept thinking of how nervous I would be, but I received plenty of encouragement from family, friends, and colleagues. After being on stage, I can say nothing less than “it was an awesome experience and I am so grateful for that opportunity!” Big shout out to my video partners Lawrence Sloan, MBA, FASAE, CAE and Kenneth Martinez, as well as Bethany Chirico, MBA, CAE, CMP and Jessie Lewis for their encouragement throughout the video and stage process 😁 Can’t wait for what the rest of this year will bring! #AIHA, #IBEC, #industrialhygiene, #IH, #AIHAConnect2024, #Commit2Care, #backtoworksafely
