Get ready for World Water Week 2024! 🌍💧 The leading conference on global water issues, World Water Week, takes place from August 25 to August 29 in Stockholm. This annual event brings together experts, decision-makers, and innovators from around the world to address critical water-related challenges. Organized by the SIWI - Stockholm International Water Institute, the event serves as a platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and the development of sustainable solutions to water-related issues. The theme for World Water Week 2024, ‘Bridging Borders: Water for a Peaceful and Sustainable Future’, focuses on water cooperation for peace and security. 💦🕊️ Are you attending World Water Week in Stockholm? ☝🏾 Don't miss our thinkshop session! 💭 To address the lack of agreement on what qualifies as evidence for WASH systems strengthening interventions, we are hosting a thinkshop session in collaboration with Agenda for Change and IRCWASH, titled 'Framing Qualitative Evidence in Systems-Strengthening Programming'. 🎯 This interactive session aims to create a compendium of tools for the qualitative monitoring of systems strengthening, designed for practitioners. It will allow participants to review and critically assess various tools and methods. The goal is to consolidate these insights into a publication that reflects diverse perspectives on effective monitoring practices, which will be shared with the wider WASH sector to enhance collective accountability, learning, and practice within the sector. 🎤 Our speakers: Bethlehem Mengistu (Agenda for Change) Irene Gai (Welthungerhilfe) Stef Smits (IRC WASH) Join the thinkshop here: 📅 Monday, August 26, 2024 ⌚ 9:00 to 10:30 am CEST 📍 World Water Week Conference in Stockholm, Room 26, Level 2 #WorldWaterWeek #WWWeek #BridgingBorders #WaterCooperation #WASH #WaterForAll
