AEW Europe announces the acquisition of a 40,000 sqm fully let logistics asset near Vienna, Austria. The newly built Grade A warehouse comprises of six units across two buildings and is fully let to a number of well-established international occupiers committed to long-term fixed lease agreements. The Ebergassing asset has been constructed to a high standard and has achieved a DGNB Gold sustainability label. Strategically located in the Vienna metropolitan area, the asset is in a sought-after hub for logistics with access to major transportation networks. Ebergassing received the DGNB Gold sustaibanility label on 10 May 2024. An assessment fee has been paid for the certification. A group of volunteers in Boston spent a sunny afternoon maintaining a community food forest with our key partner, Trust for Public Land. The Mattapan Food Forest provides a space for connection, exercise, and learning for the surrounding neighborhoods, in addition to fresh produce. Volunteers cleared walkways, spread compost, weeded plant beds, and harvested walnuts and berries to prepare the space for a community event. #InvestedinOurCommunities #PlacesforPeople

During this summer, several AEW employees based in Paris spent a half-day with volunteers from the Paris Federation of Secours populaire (Secours populaire de Paris), who work towards a fairer and more supportive world where everyone can find their place as citizens, where they live. In particular, our colleagues helped with the setup and distribution of food products, and sorting clothes at the Auriol and Montcalm sites to be donated for free, as well as in the clothing boutique. Last week, AEW volunteers in Los Angeles enjoyed a sunny day helping to clean up Will Rogers Beach with Heal the Bay. The 17 volunteers worked together to remove 39 pounds of trash from the beach and learned about Heal the Bay’s mission to preserve access to clean beaches and safe waterways for people and marine life alike. #InvestedinOurCommunities #PlacesforPeople
