This NexGen VCTE (vibration controlled transient elastography) technology incorporates a 2D ultrasound image (ViTE) for accurate staging and sampling of liver disease, which provides an estimate of liver stiffness as well as ultrasound coefficient of attenuation LiSA (liver ultra-sound attenuation) to evaluate liver steatosis with quantitative results.
