Topping off in Hyde Park: The Adjustable Concrete Construction team handed off the core structure of Harper Court Innovation Labs' new life sciences facility. This project includes 15 floors of concrete core and slabs integrated into a composite steel-CIP concrete frame that are set above an existing parking garage, fitness center, and shopping complex—all of which remained operational throughout the construction process. In tight collaboration with Trammell Crow Company & Beacon Capital Partners, Power Construction & UJAMAA Construction, Thornton Tomasetti, and trade partners Ambar and New Horizon Steel, our teams skillfully navigated the project's structural and logistical challenges, all within a dense urban setting with limited space. Finishing strong at Northwestern Medical Bronzeville MOB with UJAMAA Construction and Power Construction. The Adjustable Concrete Construction crew topped out the level six roof slab and will be back in the spring to complete metal deck placement. #concreteconstruction #chicagoconstruction
