Data recently presented at #ASCO24 showed "MRD detection using [Adela's] cfMeDIP-seq platform correlated strongly with reported recurrence-free survival with hazard ratios consistent with what has been described previously for tumor-informed assays." Over 70,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with Head & Neck cancers each year.  These can affect various areas, including the oral cavity (mouth), pharynx (throat), larynx (voice box), nasal cavity, sinuses, and salivary glands. Globally, it is the 7th most common cancer with an estimated 890,000 new cases (roughly 4.5% of all cancer diagnoses around the world) in 2020.  Adela is in the forefront of advancing methylation-based tests to help guide treatment decisions for these types of cancers.
