The Alameda County Workforce Development Board (ACWDB) is a 27 member employer-led board, responsible for providing fiscal and policy oversight of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs and initiatives in Alameda County (outside the city of Oakland). ACWDB ensures that job seekers, (including adults, youth, and dislocated workers), and employers, have access to high quality and comprehensive services.
