We’re honoured to announce that Acquia has been selected by the Australian Government as a supplier to the GovCMS Drupal Services panel, which was expanded in November 2023 to include Digital Experience Platform (DXP) tools and services. GovCMS is a website management platform built on Drupal, and its aim is to help government agencies at all levels (federal, state, and local) deliver and maintain websites that are secure, modern, and accessible to the public. Now more than 100 government organizations can look to Acquia as an already-vetted provider for digital experience, content personalisation, and digital asset management solutions that can be procured and implemented quickly and cost-effectively with the core GovCMS platform, enabling more relevant content and intuitive services for users. What are your organization’s current top priorities for improving your organization’s website? A recent Center for Digital Government (CDG) survey found that 70% of government respondents rated their website good or excellent in terms of accessibility, and only a third say that improving accessibility is a top priority. But users are telling a different story. A study conducted by the American Foundation for the Blind found that 75% of blind, low-vision, and deaf-blind respondents faced frequent or occasional barriers online when accessing government benefits. Our latest report, “A Wake-Up Call on Digital Experience and Accessibility” from the CDG covers the common accessibility issues on many government websites and details strategies to help address those issues. 💻 Download our report to get a pulse on the state of the citizen website experience and accessibility. https://lnkd.in/gKM85fhN
