Don't forget to look up ☝🤩 ACOUSTI's Raleigh, NC branch has completed their installation at the North Hills Tower 5 project with Shelco, LLC. 12,000 SF of Rulon International Endure Linear Ceiling systems were installed on multiple floors of exterior soffits, some over 120' above ground! The coordination and teamwork required to work alongside multiple trades such as: excavation, ceiling framing, grand stairs concrete pours, column covers and storefront glass, on overlapping scopes in the same areas was challenging to say the least, which made it all the more rewarding upon completion! #oneacousti #acousti #commercialconstruction #commercialcontractor #constructionindustry #rulon #ceilings #ceilingsystems

After 3️⃣0️⃣ years of dedicated service to ACOUSTI, Jerry Guin has turned in his hard hat, safety vest, and glasses, riding off into the sunset to begin his well-earned retirement. Joining our Raleigh, NC team in 1️⃣9️⃣9️⃣4️⃣ as a drywall mechanic, Jerry then transitioned into our specialty division for wood and metal ceilings, along with acoustical wall panels. He quickly built a strong team focused on this highly skilled area, leading many high-profile projects for North Carolina’s top universities like UNC, Duke, and NC State. In 2009, Jerry advanced to the superintendent position, where he excelled in leading and sharing his knowledge with his team, contributing significantly to expanding ACOUSTI's footprint in the Raleigh market. As he steps into retirement, Jerry looks forward to relaxing and unwinding, remaining active with Compassion International, and planning mission trips with his church to offer aid and engage in minor construction projects. Locally, he also plans to stay involved with his church family, spend quality time with his grandkids, and focus on his health. "Jerry was a pillar of our Raleigh Branch, leaving behind a legacy that will continue through the team he assembled and led.
