This year, super excited to celebrate the 30th annual Will Golf 4 Kids (WG4K) tournament and the 16th annual Gala of Hope, both of which are dedicated to supporting Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW) and have raised over $22.7 million for the children in need. Get ready for a fantastic four-person scramble golf tournament taking place on Thursday, August 1, and Friday, August 2, at the Dogwood Golf Course and Kingswood Golf Course in Bella Vista. The event promises morning and afternoon shotgun starts, fantastic goody bags, and plenty of opportunities to connect with other child champions. Our 2024 golf chairs are Mike Sewell from Market Performance Group, Tony Murphy from Acosta, and honorary co-chairs Silvia Azrai Kawas and Will McDonald from Walmart. 🌏 Reflecting on an incredible global immersion experience in Japan with my Walton College of Business Executive MBA cohort! 🇯🇵 Over the past week, I was we had the privilege to visit some of Japan's leading companies, and also made lifelong connections through University of Arkansas ­- Sam M. Walton College of Business. Our itinerary included eye-opening visits to Morgan Stanley, Rapyuta Robotics, Daiwa House, and a particularly insightful stop at Kao Corporation, one of the accounts I currently manage at Acosta Bentonville , Acosta Group I want to extend a HUGE thank you to University of Arkansas professors Mervin Jebaraj and Rogelio Garcia Contreras and the EMBA director, Olga Murcia for organizing such an amazing trip. Their dedication ensured that our cohort not only explored Kao in depth but also delved into the broader landscape of Japanese business and innovation. A special thank you goes out Kao Joe Furey and Tracie Lyne Sauer at Kao Corporation for their invaluable support in coordinating our visit. Their collaboration with the university and the Japan Kao team made this experience possible, and I'm truly grateful for their hospitality and insights. During our visits, I was amazed by the commitment of these organizations to sustainability, societal impact, and continuous innovation. Learning firsthand about their initiatives has inspired me deeply. This journey has reinforced my belief in the power of global perspectives and collaboration in shaping a sustainable future.
