Welcome to the ACNB Employee Spotlight! We would like to introduce you to Kimberly Wilhelm, Producing Sales Manager/Residential Mortgage Loan Originator. Get to know Kim below: Kim’s journey at ACNB Bank began in 2022 when a friend reached out to her that ACNB Bank was looking for a mortgage originator for the Gettysburg area, believing her extensive knowledge of loan processes would be perfect for the position. After 30 years in the financial industry, and believing her career in the industry had come to an end, Kim decided to give it a try, as she missed the business. In November 2023, Kim was offered the position of Producing Sales Manager, which she was initially reluctant to take. ACNB Bank has a fantastic team of originators across the region and constantly work together to improve the products and services to be the financial provider of choice within our communities! Kim is involved in numerous activities outside the office. Kim is on the Board of the Adams County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, where she assists in reviewing applicants for family selection and volunteers on home projects. It is a small chapter with big hearts, helping those in the County attain affordable housing. This was Kim’s first-year volunteering for the Junior Achievement YES program. At Gettysburg Middle School, she was scheduled to teach kids about budgeting and finances. However, at the last minute, they needed a volunteer to switch gears, and she ended up in “Manufacturing.” Not only did the kids learn, but she also learned how Starbucks manufactures and ships its coffee beans. It was a great experience, and she’s looking forward to next year. Why should people bank at ACNB Bank? “I have the pleasure of working with the branches and visiting them often. As I sit in those branches, I listen to the conversations between the customers and branch staff. Our branch staff knows each of their customers, welcomes them by name, and asks about their families with a level of personal detail that comes from truly caring about the community. At ACNB Bank, everyone works together to provide a plethora of services in one stop! Not only do we offer traditional banking products, consumer and mortgage loans, but we also have talented Commercial and Agricultural Lending Divisions that allow us to consider all options to find the best fit for each customer.” When Kim is not working, family and friends bring her the most joy! She has been with her partner, Carl, for almost 30 years, and they have raised a beautiful daughter, Kara. Kim loves to travel with family and friends and looks forward to their annual trips. She is always looking for the annual bucket list concert! In the summer months, you will find her in the pool on the weekends, soaking up rays and reading a book. They enjoy cooking, especially with fresh veggies from their garden. If they go out, it’s usually to Maryland Mallet, RockSalt Grille, or Liberatore's.

Welcome to the ACNB Employee Spotlight! We would like to introduce you to Doug Lindsay, AVP/Community Banking Manager II. Get to know Doug below: Doug started his banking career as a teller with Farmers National Bank of Newville in 1982. In 1990 he became the Assistant Cashier where he was responsible for office administration, preparing ALCO reports and financial call reporting to the FDIC. When Farmers National Bank of Newville merged with ACNB in 2001 he became Office Administrator. Doug’s titles progressed to Sales Manager and then to Community Banking Manager II where he is today. Doug has many passions and involvements outside of the Bank. Doug is a member of the Green Spring First Church of God as an Elder. He also teaches a Senior High Sunday School class and helps with the live stream and sound system at church. One of his biggest passions is sports photography. Doug is one of three volunteer photographers that photograph games for all sports and other events for Big Spring High School. They contribute to the local newspaper, Big Spring yearbook and on social media platforms. He is also involved with North Newton township as an auditor. Doug has been a volunteer with Junior Achievements for 18 years. He teaches a 4th grade class at Mooreland Elementary, volunteers with Budget Builders in REAL Life, STEM and the YES! Program at Big Spring, Carlisle and Boiling Springs school districts. Lastly, Doug also assists the business department at Big Spring High School with mock interviews with 11th grade students. Why should people bank at a community bank? “I strongly believe why you should bank with a community bank is because of the people. The staff is in the community, outside the bank and we are visible. We can be found at little league games, concerts, bake sales and volunteering in our communities where we live. We are accessible and are here to serve. We want to see our communities grow and thrive.” One of Doug’s favorite things to do is eat out at local restaurants. He has so many it’s difficult to name a favorite. Doug enjoys the local parade scene in Newville: Memorial Day, Fountain Festival and the Halloween parade and the Newville Fountain Festival each June. And finally, Doug enjoys vacationing with his wife, Carolyn in Williamsburg, Virginia and they share special times with his son, Jared, his wife Katrina and their granddaughter Audrey.
