ACNB was proud to sponsor the South Mountain YMCA Camp's 27th Annual Golf Classic last month. Nick Litrenta, VP/Market Executive Senior Commercial Lender, serves on the South Mountain YMCA Board. The golf tournament benefits scholarships for kids and veterans' families to attend camp. In addition, a Bourbon raffle was hosted for kids' scholarships that raised an additional $2,000 dollars, which will provide 6 different children 1 week at camp. ACNB is committed to our community!

Welcome to the ACNB Employee Spotlight! We would like to introduce you to Carolyn Dull, Vice President/Human Resources Officer. Get to know Carolyn below: Carolyn has been with ACNB Bank for over 23 years. Carolyn started her journey as a Seasonal Floating Teller while attending college. She always looked forward to returning to the Bank and reconnecting with coworkers and customers during her college breaks. When she graduated, she returned for what she thought would be “one more summer!” During that summer, an opportunity opened up with the Human Resources team. Carolyn interviewed for the job and has been in the department ever since! Carolyn has had the opportunity to work with and learn from so many great people over the years. Outside of the office, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family, spending time outside, gardening, and boating on the lake. Why should people bank at a community bank? “A community bank is special because of the relationships that are developed. It provides you with a great opportunity to connect with people who know and understand your financial needs because we share the same communities. We live, work, and play right beside our customers. A community bank can better understand the opportunities and challenges you face on a daily basis and can offer you financial solutions that support your needs.” Over the years, Carolyn has enjoyed participating with Team ACNB in different events, like walking in the Christmas parade in Hanover, the Heart Walk, and Bowl for Kids’ Sake. One of her favorite places to visit is Half Pint Creamery! It is hard to resist!

We had a great Shred Day on Saturday at our ACNB Corporation Operations Center. We helped 130 people shred 10,120 pounds of documents, in a safe and secure manner. Participants donated a minimum of $2.00 per box of shred materials with a total donation of $1,092 made to the United Way of Adams County. Additionally, many people brought canned goods and other nonperishable food items and household supplies in support of the kickoff of the 18th Annual Bag the Bounty Food Drive organized by the United Way of Adams County. We love how generous our community is. 💙
